KOSTA Staff Teams

All teams will operate under the direct leadership and supervision of the Planning Committee.

​

  • Operations Team – Responsible for Logistical Setup and Oversight of the Scheduled Events (includes youth traffic control, room setup, facility control w/ HCU staff, supervising youth activity, and administrating code of conduct & discipline

​

  • Youth Care Team – Responsible for the spiritual, emotional, and physical care of youth during the conference (includes emotional/mental health care, nurse care, dietary restriction support, in-worship youth support for students who struggle + Snack & Water supplies for Youth during Conference)

​

  • Admin Team – Responsible for youth registration, room assignment, group assignment, meal rotation schedule, seminar registration, youth, staff, & guest speaker badge preparation, and central hub of information during the conference

​

  • Mentoring Team – Responsible for coordinating 1on1 mentoring sessions with youth and speakers/mentors (includes space coordination, time coordination for both mentor/mentee, basic guide on expectations, record keeping of all 1on1 sessions with youth name/church and follow up form for mentors to fill out including mandatory reporting items.)

  • AVL Team – Responsible for the Audio Engineering, Visual Presentation, and Lighting for all scheduled worship, keynote, break out seminar, and KOSTAN Stage (closely working with HCU staff)

​

  • Volunteer Team – Responsible for vetting volunteers, training volunteers, assigning volunteers to teams, and administrating code of conduct and discipline. (includes Snack & Drinks for staff & Praise Team)

​

  • Praise Team – Responsible for preparing and leading praise sessions in collaboration with the guest praise team (including stage setup, song list selection, worship coordination, Guest praise team care, Speaker support & prayer support, and KOSTAN stage support)

​

  • Intercessory Prayer Team – Responsible for coordinating and leading intercessory prayer before and during the conference with local leader, youth parents, and more (includes active invitation towards all churches involved and focuses on uniting in prayer)

​

  • Culture/Design/Social Media Team – Responsible for preparing and bringing about a unified design and culture to this conference that is youth engaging and edifying to the conference.

​

  • Hosting Team – Responsible for the care and support for the guest speakers (includes transportation, lodging, meals, special support requests, hosting room preparation and setup with snacks and drinks, communication with various teams, chaperoning speakers to their schedules, before and after conference care, intercessory prayer for the speakers, active communication and schedule adjustment with HQ director and KOSTA director)

​

  • Translation Team – Responsible for the setup of translation devices, coordination of translation schedules, and providing translation services for any Korean to English speaker situation.
